Somerset Elementary Arrival and Dismissal
ARRIVAL: Students will not be able to enter the building until 9:00AM.
Students should NOT arrive before 9:00 as they would be waiting outside with no supervision.
Beginning at 9:00.
Parents dropping off their child at arrival should park in the church parking lot or on the street where allowed. Use sidewalks and crosswalks!
Buses will unload in the front of the building.
All students will walk down the sidewalk on the south side to the back of the building, and enter through the gym doors.
Students are not considered tardy until after 9:15.
DISMISSAL:
Beginning at 3:35.
Parents picking up their child at the end of the day should park in the church parking lot or on the street where allowed and then walk and meet their child at the side of the building on the south end near the picnic tables. While waiting for your child, please stay on the sidewalk and in the grass area. DO NOT STAND OR WALK IN THE BUS DRIVEWAY. Use sidewalks and crosswalks!
Buses will load as they arrive in front of the building.
NO CARS ARE TO PULL INTO THE CIRCLE IN FRONT OF THE BUILDING DURING ARRIVAL OR DISMISSAL TIMES. Do not walk in the bus driveway.
Late Arrival/Early Parent Pick Up
If you drop off your child late or need to pick them up before the end of the school day, please pull up to the front of the building (as long as there are no buses there). Call the school secretary at (740) 743-1454 and let them know you are dropping off/picking up your child
